The Pineapple Shack is a family-owned and operated food trailer serving the Mackay and Whitsundays region.

Our journey began in 2024, when a family trip to Hawaii led us to discover the iconic Dole Pineapple treat at the Dole Pineapple Plantation in Oahu. It was love at first bite! When we returned home, we realised that we couldn’t buy the product here in Mackay — so we decided to bring the taste of Hawaii to our local community.

With a passion for tropical flavours and creating smiles, we turned our inspiration into The Pineapple Shack — a refreshing new adventure. Our signature pineapple soft serve is vegan, dairy-free, and bursting with real pineapple flavour, making it the perfect guilt-free treat for everyone to enjoy.

Founded by a local teacher turned dream-chaser, The Pineapple Shack is all about family, flavour, and fun in the sun. 🌴
